SASANI
I've never felt more at home in my life!
Besides the paparazzi I receive everywhere (Elder Hungunga, I'm talking to you), I swear I don't even realize I'm white.
These people speak to me LOL. I know I'm only in the MTC, but they just make my heart so happy. Everybody is so kind and sweet.
The MTC here legit has zero rules. The classes are like 30-45 minutes maybe, with breaks, but SO spiritual. Honestly, it's the way to go because then I don't fall asleep. I love my teachers! Bro. Adjabeng and Ballo Bi—try saying that every day haha—but they make the French seem slightly possible. Also, my P-day changes every week, so stay tuned.
Me and Sister Tui laugh SO HARD through each day, so I say my prayers for her because God knew I needed to laugh through this! Trauma bond
I swear I'm actually learning, but I figured I'd tell y'all some things you can laugh at hopefully like I do.
Taking the cake are these elders, man. I've somehow received quite a bit of Ghanaian money with elders' signatures, photos/videos taken of me eating, walking, or working out. I've been proposed to once and asked to have six kids? Don't know how this slides, but God is watching
The islanders, though, are out of this world. They blow an inappropriate amount of kisses and toss too many "I love you"s on my way to my room. I do have two private invites to Tonga, though. One elder told me that he's Maui.
IT'S FLIPPIN' HOT
I wake up sweating, pray sweating, study sweating—I am always sweating but hope to be well-adjusted before I even touch Benin.
Not to mention I'm on a crazy gym-bro schedule right now, so I hope you all are jealous. I get free hot Pilates every time I work out outside and then take cold showers. Plus, chicken and rice for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!
Something a little more spiritual but saving you from French class...
GHANA TEMPLE IS BEAUTIFUL
Revelation really hit me differently there. While sitting in the temple, I was just amazed by the art and the culture here. I love it! All I could think of was the hymn How Great Thou Art. I know it's a basic one, but it's so amazing what God truly has given us. I never thought I'd be on a mission, especially sitting in the Ghana Temple, but it felt so right. God's plan is the perfect one for each of us, and it's so beautiful! We just get to enjoy the ride!
I got teary-eyed during a devo. We opened the meeting with singing Called to Serve and closed with Army of Helaman. It was so powerful hearing everyone singing so loud. These people PREACH when they sing, and I honestly love it because why would you not sing as loud as you can?
What hit me the most was all of the languages—English, French, Portuguese, Swahili, and all their tribal languages. Crazy to think how far the gospel truly has gotten when you hear it in tons of languages. Seriously so cool—the Spirit was

Should be some Google photos right there; hopefully, that works
